Terms of Service
The terms that apply to our hosting, VPS and licence services.
1. Agreement
By ordering or using any service from Web Hosting And Technical Solutions ("WebHATS") you agree to these terms and to any policies published on this website.
2. Services
WebHATS provides shared hosting, reseller hosting, KVM virtual private servers (managed and unmanaged) and licences for the Zamfoo software suite.
3. Fees and billing
Services are billed in advance for the billing period you choose (monthly or yearly). Prices are shown in US dollars. Unpaid services may be suspended and later terminated.
4. Cancellations and refunds
We do not offer refunds on active services. Exceptions are made when a service or licence was never activated. You may cancel a service at any time to stop future renewals; cancelling does not refund the current paid period.
5. Datacenter, backups and resource limits
Our servers are in Dallas, Texas. We keep 3 days of backups on every plan; keep your own copies of anything critical. Accounts that exceed their plan’s resource limits are suspended.
6. Support
We provide 24×7 support by ticket. Unmanaged VPS support covers the hardware and network only. Once you have root access, administering the server is up to you. Managed VPS plans add the server administration described on the VPS page. Your own applications and content remain your responsibility on every plan.
7. Resellers
Resellers may sell hosting under their own brand and are responsible for support and billing to their own customers. All accounts must comply with the acceptable use rules below.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use services for spam, phishing, malware, attacks on other systems, or any unlawful activity. We may suspend services that put our network or other customers at risk.
9. Zamfoo licences
Zamfoo licences are registered to a server IP address. Monthly licences renew until cancelled. A lifetime licence is a single payment with no renewals. It covers one server and the version line you buy (v16.x). Our support desk reissues the licence if you move servers. Ask us before assuming it covers a future major version.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the affected service in the previous three months.
